Swimming Pool FAQs — London
How much does a swimming pool cost in London?
Outdoor liner pools start from £36,000 and concrete tiled outdoor pools from £48,000. Indoor pools within the main house start from £75,000, and basement pools from £95,000. See our Pool Prices pages for full breakdowns.
How much do hot tubs and swim spas cost?
Acrylic hot tubs start from £5,000 installed, and swim spas from £15,000. Bespoke tiled spas are quoted individually.
Are your quotes fixed?
Yes. Every quote is fully itemised and our contracts are fixed-price, so you know exactly what you're paying before work begins.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. The first consultation and itemised quote are free, with no obligation.
Do I need planning permission for a swimming pool?
Most outdoor pools in a rear garden can be built under permitted development. Indoor pools, basement pools and pool buildings may need planning consent. We advise on this at your consultation.
Can you work with my architect?
Yes. We regularly work with architects, structural engineers and developers.
What type of pools do you build?
Bespoke reinforced concrete pools only. Concrete allows any shape, depth and finish, and is the only method suitable for basement pools.
How long does a pool build take?
A typical concrete pool takes 8–16 weeks from groundworks to handover. Basement and indoor pools take longer. You'll get a detailed timeline before work starts.
What guarantee do you give?
Every pool we build carries a 10-year structural guarantee.
How do you prevent damp and condensation in indoor pools?
We fit ducted dehumidification sized for the pool room. For basement pools we add BS 8102 waterproofing so moisture never reaches the rest of the house.
Do you refurbish existing pools?
Yes: retiling, filtration upgrades, liner replacement, structural repairs, and outdoor-to-indoor conversions.
Which areas do you cover?
Greater London and the South East, including Kensington, Chelsea, Hampstead, Mayfair, Wimbledon and Richmond, plus Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Kent and Essex.
